Mara Davis is an Account Director on the Direct Impact team. She has extensive experience working in local government and at public relations agencies in NewYork City and Washington, DC, and has worked on both national and localpolitical campaigns. Most recently, she served as Communications Director for aCouncilmember on the Council of the District of Columbia. Prior to that, shespent two years as Deputy Press Secretary for the Speaker of the New York CityCouncil. She is a Pilates instructor in her spare time.

A native New Yorker, Mara completed her undergraduate degree at New York University where she received a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with minors in Politics and Communications Studies. She recently moved back to DC after 5+ years living in New York.
