Prior to joining Direct Impact, Destinee served as State Press Secretary for U.S. Senator Chris Van Hollen, where she developed key messaging for the Senator and enhanced his name recognition across the state of Maryland.
Before her time on Capitol Hill, Destinee worked for KO Public Affairs, a boutique public affairs firm in Baltimore, managing the execution of various grassroots campaigns. As a public affairs and community relations consultant, she leveraged her expertise to serve a diverse portfolio of clients in the healthcare, non-profit, business, financial services, and telecommunications industries.
Destinee is a Georgia native and graduate of Kennesaw State University with a bachelor's degree in English.
