Amy Cloessner

Vice President

As vice president, Amy Cloessner oversees the Grassroots Communications Center and is responsible for new business development. She provides strategic counsel for our high-volume, high-quality programs, including our signature Legislative Correspondent campaigns and community-based outreach and education programs. She brings years of experience in developing cost-effective grassroots programs, data targeting and acquisition, message development, outreach specialist training, troubleshooting and analysis.

During her time at Direct Impact, Cloessner has served as client lead for several programs and worked on varying issues, such as healthcare, transportation, energy, labor and trade laws, and public safety.

Prior to joining Direct Impact in 2002, she received her B.A. in political science from Louisiana State University and her Juris Doctor from the Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C.
